Price Errors This Week (Oct 6–13, 2026)
Every Strike (our top alert tier) and every alert flagged as a pricing mistake in the last seven days — workstation PCs listed far under their normal price, OLED TVs at half off, decimal slips and stale list prices — republished one day after members got them. These are the alerts that die fastest, which is why the live version is the membership and this page is the receipt.
In short: Paydirt members got 11 price-error and Strike alerts (Strike is Paydirt's top alert tier) during Oct 6–13, 2026; this page lists 3 of them, curated and republished 24 hours late with no links to the retailer. Price errors often end within minutes to hours, so most of these prices are gone by now. Members get them live in Paydirt's Discord and can opt into price-error pings; joining is free during launch.

A quiet week for price errors. Only 3 alerts in this lane passed our curation rules during Oct 6–13, 2026, so this page keeps its guide copy until the list fills back in. The live board and the weekly roundups show everything else the fleet caught.
*Est. net is an estimate made when the alert posted: recent eBay prices for the same item minus eBay fees, estimated shipping and returns, sales tax and the price you pay. It is not a verified sale or a member result, and it does not cover cancelled orders or prices that move. Prices were live when members were alerted and may be gone now.
Get price errors the moment they drop
Every row above hit members' phones a day before it reached this page. Public rows leave out the store link and the cancel-risk rating. Members get the link on every alert, and a cancel-risk rating on price errors and on prices our own check could not confirm. Opt into this lane and only the alerts you pick ping you.
What counts as a price error here
A price error is a price the retailer didn't mean to set: a misplaced decimal, a unit price applied to a case, a bundle priced like a single item, or a clearance price pushed to the wrong SKU. Every Strike is listed here too, whatever its lane, so the list mixes true mistakes with extreme but deliberate markdowns. The tier column tells you which is which.
Rows that look huge but aren't real never make it here: when several different products from the same monitor share one "was" price, when a resale estimate is larger than the discount, or when a title is someone else's relayed ad, the row is filtered out of the public list (it still counts in the totals).
Will a price error ship?
Sometimes. Retailers' terms generally let them cancel orders placed at an incorrect price, and many do within a day or two. Your card is usually only authorized until the order ships, but treat that money as tied up. Public rows leave out the store link and the cancel-risk rating. Members get the link on every alert, and a cancel-risk rating on price errors and on prices our own check could not confirm. Nobody can promise an error will be honored, and nothing here is a guarantee of a purchase or a profit.
Our price errors explained guide covers how mistakes happen, how often they're honored and what to do if an order is cancelled.
Why Amazon rows show no price
Amazon's Associates rules only allow Amazon prices to be displayed in limited ways, so Amazon price errors appear here as identity rows — the product and the time we caught it — with the price withheld. Members saw the live price in the alert.
How we catch these
Price errors come from the widest mix of sources on the site: in-house monitors on HP.com, Newegg, Best Buy, Target and Walmart, a new-listing scan that catches Amazon items mispriced at creation, and curated relays from public deal boards (Slickdeals, r/buildapcsales) when the community sees one first.
This week, 0 of the 3 rows shown came from our own monitors and 3 from relays of public deal boards and publishers. Every alert is timestamped when it reaches the private Discord; this page shows it 24 hours later, and nothing here links to the retailer.
Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to buy a price error?
Yes, buying an item at its listed price is legal. The retailer may cancel the order under its terms. Never try to manipulate a price, stack fraudulent returns or order more than you can afford to have tied up.
How fast do price errors disappear?
Often within minutes to hours, once a retailer notices or the stock sells out. That's why members get them live and this page is 24 hours behind.
What is a Strike?
Strike is Paydirt's top alert tier: a price error 80% or more off that more than one signal backs up, or a real discount on an item whose checked eBay sold prices leave about $150 or more est. net. It is the only tier that alerts the whole server, so a week can have none.
Why are some big discounts missing from this list?
Our curation rules drop rows with bogus reference prices (one "was" price shared by several different products), resale estimates that can't be true, relayed ad copy and stub titles. Totals still count every alert.
How do I get price errors live instead of a day later?
Join Paydirt's Discord through Whop and opt into the price-error alerts: each one is posted when it's caught, timestamped, with a cancel-risk rating. Joining is free during launch. This page republishes a curated selection of them, 24 hours late.
