Help & Support

Getting into the server, reading your alerts, and who to email when something is wrong.

Connect Discord after joining on Whop

Paydirt runs in Discord, and your access comes from your Whop membership. Haven't claimed it yet? Join free during launch. Once you have, link the Discord account you use:

  1. On Whop, open Paydirt → Free Discord Access.
  2. Tap Connect Discord and pick the Discord account you use. Whop uses whichever Discord account your browser is logged into. If it shows a different one, log out of discord.com in that browser first.
  3. Tap Claim Access. Your channels open by themselves within a minute.

Can't find Paydirt on Whop? Sign in with the email you claimed with (search your inbox for “Whop Order Confirmation”). The member app signs in with the same Discord account.

What an empty channel usually means

  • You only see a few channels. Your Discord isn't linked to your Whop claim yet, or a different Discord account is. Run the three steps above with the account you are using in Discord.
  • A deal channel is quiet. Alerts post only when a deal passes our checks, so a store or category channel can go hours without a post. The live board replays member alerts 24 hours late, so you can see how busy a store has been.
  • Alerts post, but nothing pings you. You haven't picked any alerts yet, or your picks don't cover that channel. See the next section.

How opt-in alert roles work

In #pick-your-alerts, pick your stores and categories. Your picks decide what pings you, and you can change them any time. Whatever you leave out still posts in its channel; it just won't ping you. Every alert role has a daily cap on how often it buzzes you, so a busy day can't bury your phone.

Not sure what to pick? The Set Me Up card in that channel picks for you in three taps. /mypings shows what you're signed up for, and /alerts DMs you only the deals that clear your own bar: minimum % off, price range and a daily cap.

What the cancel-risk rating means

Cancel risk is our read on whether the store will honor an order at the posted price. High marks a price error, which the store may cancel. Medium marks a steep discount on a price we could not fully confirm. It is a warning, not a promise either way: a store can cancel any order.

Public rows leave out the store link and the cancel-risk rating. Members get the link on every alert, and a cancel-risk rating on price errors and on prices our own check could not confirm.

A store cancelled my order

Take it up with the store. Paydirt doesn't sell the products in its alerts, so it can't reverse or refund a retailer's order, and a cancelled order isn't grounds for a Paydirt membership refund (see the refund policy). During the free launch there is no Paydirt fee to refund at all.
